      Fresh Rose Petals create a visual memory . . . they are elegant, colorful, fresh, and fragrant. They can be blown, tossed, scattered, pillowed, and floated. They can be used heavily to create space or lightly to accent spaces. The decorating possibilities are endless, and only you know what mood you are creating.

The following information might be helpful in determining the correct amount of fresh petals to buy:

Tossing – (Guests love this!) Plan on using about 1 petal pack for about 35 guests – If you are going to have a large basket with loose petals, you should consider more as some guests tend to take large scoops.

Scattering on tables – Plan on about 1 petal pack for up to 6-12 tables depending on table size and your application.

Adorning the Aisle – This really depends on the look that you want to create using the petals. Some of our customers use petals to actually create and identify the path for the bride and some use the petals to just accent the aisle. Others lightly scatter the aisle or just the sides of the aisle and still some need the path to be completely covered with a blanket of fresh petals. We usually say that one pack extra lightly can cover up to 40 square feet, lightly to medium coverage about 20 square feet, medium to heavy coverage about 10 square feet and blanket coverage about 5 square feet. This chart may also help you decide how many petals you need.

We believe that people should be able to do all of the things they dream about when they are young. We hope that our pictures of rose petals and roses will help to fulfill some of those dreams…. Dreams about rose petals and wedding roses floating in ponds or bowls, dreams about rose petals and garland adorning the aisle as the bride enters, or dreams of rose petals being tossed at the newlyweds as they escape to their new life together.

SUGGESTED QUANTITY FOR POPULAR USES:

Wedding Toss: 1/2 cup per guest

Runway or Aisle: 12 cups per 20 square feet for light coverage. Use 20 cups, per 20 square feet for moderate coverage. Use between 2-3 cups per square foot for elaborate coverage, creating a blanket of rose petals.

Reception tables 5-6 cups per 60″ round table. For light scattering around just the center of the table use 3 cups or so.

Path & Bath: 20-60 cups to create a path of rose petals to a candle filled bathroom….float our lovely rose petals in the bath…What a fantastic, romantic atmosphere you can create in just moments! We have been told by some of our clients that the color of the rose petals is enhanced in the bath & that the petals float even better than fresh!!!

 Romantic Evening:12-60 cups depending on the bed size & the coverage you are looking for… light to complete!

Memorial Service or Funeral Service: 1/2 – 2 cups per person attending that wishes to honor the spirit of a loved one or friend.

Flower Girls
Half a box will normally fill a Flower Girl basket. Decorate your Head Table or Cake Table with any that are left over.

Bridal Toss
One box should be enough for about 30 guests. Put approximately 10 petals in a paper cone, a tulle bag tied with ribbon, or a clear envelope, and place at their chairs for your guests to toss when the bride and groom walk back down the aisle or come out of the church.
